UMA Personal Care and Companionship
Our caregivers take great pride in their work, which is evident in the quality of care they provide to our clients. They have a true calling to help others achieve independence, stay safe, and experience a better quality of life at home. This desire to serve others comes from within and is at the core of who we are. Our highest priority and greatest joy is to serve others and make a positive impact in their lives.
The best-matched caregivers make all the difference
At UMA, we believe that building strong relationships is key to providing exceptional one-on-one care for our clients. We take the time to get to know our clients on a personal level – learning about their interests, habits, preferences, and other important details – so that we can match them with a caregiver who is not only skilled and experienced but also a great fit personally. We understand that for many clients, their caregivers become like family, and that’s why we strive to create a warm and supportive environment that makes all the difference in their care experience.

How we can help
If managing daily personal activities or housekeeping tasks has become challenging for you, our team of highly trained and experienced home health aides can provide assistance. Additionally, if you require help with running errands, such as going to the store or attending doctor’s appointments, we can also lend a hand. For those who have parents with dementia and need a companion to ensure their safety while living at home, UMA is here to help.
- Bathing, grooming, using the toilet, and dressing
- Meal planning and preparation
- Light housekeeping, laundry, and running errands
- Medication reminders and picking up prescriptions
- Escorts to appointments or meetings, help with activities or hobbies, and general companionship
We understand that your care needs can arise at any time, which is why we offer round-the-clock care services, including live-in help if needed. We value your unique circumstances and will collaborate with you and your loved ones to identify the most suitable care plan that caters to your needs.
A dedicated support team
At UMA, we believe in providing our clients with a comprehensive care experience. That’s why our in-home caregivers work alongside a team of dedicated care professionals who all play a vital role in ensuring that you receive the best possible care. Your RN clinical manager is responsible for overseeing and managing your care plan and caregiving team, as well as communicating with your doctor whenever necessary.
